"The Final Destiny of the Human Person"
The Final destiny of the human person has a lot of
beliefs or philosophies even during the ancient times from the ancient thinkers,
philosophers or theologians and other religions. However, no one from among them could indeed give the definite reality of the final destiny of the man even our modern thinkers, philosophers and theologians. Religions on the other hand, have different beliefs also of our Final Destiny. They have origins of dieties or goddesses whom lately became the God because of the great deeds and sacrifices they did for men. Some believed also that there is really the "ONE" who is the "alpha" and the "omega" (beginning and the end) of everything who created this wondrous
creations. Some call the One as the Omnipotence and Omniscience who must be respected and praised because our souls will be with the ONE after our death, when our soul departed our body. However, there are religions who believed on the reincarnation of the soul of man to the other dimensions of life or in the animals or plants. Some beliefs of the ancient religions are somewhat vague to believe but they were just trying to emphasize that there is really a "super majestic persons" who created these superb creations, only that they lack of enough knowledge to know it.
Unlike with the christian religions, like Catholic, they are consistent with their beliefs since then on that there is really a God who made these things including our life. After the death our soul will depart our body and will face the final judgement of God based on the deeds of the person when he was still on earth. When you did good things on earth you will go to heaven and live their with God and angels where, there is an everlasting life and happiness. But if you will go to the hell, you will experience an everlasting sufferings. And there is this place called purgatory wherein the souls can still be purified.
Furthermore, some modern thinkers and philosophers preferred to expound the destiny of human person based on his earlthly existence in order to give precise view of the destiny of human person. Some modern thinkers and theologians said that the destiny of man is to do good, some said, the destiny of the human person is death and etc. While the beliefs of the ancient philosophers and thinkers were not only based on an earlthly existence of man. They tried also to philosophize the life of man after death and what will happen to his soul after departing the body. Likewise, they also tried to trace the origin of the souls, but they did not succeed to prove their beliefs. While there were philosophers also who did not believe that there is another life after death because they do not believe that there is God. These are the atheist people. Some philosophers really believe of the existence of God because they discovered these strange and wondrous creations.
God loves us for He made us according to His image and likeness. He made us special and far above from all these creations. God made us special because He wants us not only to simply live here but also to take care these creations that He made for us. As a return to the goodness of God, human kind are invited/encouraged to adore him, give Him thanks and praise. The most important thing that a person should have is his faith in Him. Religion guides us and brings us more close to God. It strengthen our faith with Him. If we have strong faith, everything we move, think, and feel is all in accordance to the norms of God.
