How can you eliminate unwanted feelings for someone who doesn't care what you feel?
The girl who asked me this question was genuine in asking help. And the answer was something which I knew from my own life experience. But I had avoided thinking about that part of my life for years! It took me a lot of courage and a few tears to answer that. I said:

Why are these feelings popping up now and again..? Why are you feeling let down, unattended, unwanted, lost and lonely?
Is it not because that you still care for somebody that even doesn't
even care about you? Is it not because you have a tender, caring and a
friendly soul. This pain simply comes out because you are in love. And
it's good. Just understand that this is happening only to you 'cause
you are a good person. So, let it take over. Embrace it.

number of loving and pure souls in this world that wonder in your same
state. I am one of them. All of us need each other. The human race
itself has survived the odds of nature by sticking together. Let a
smile cover your pain...so someone in pain will smile; Let love cover
your heart...so someone deprived of love be loved. Smile...and Love
I had thought that I knew the answer for that question in the beginning. But what I had written was totally something else. My own answer made me understand a lot about relationships! The girl was helped and she got over her situation. But believe me- I didn't answer that. Some one else did it through me!
