In continuation, reflections of some
philosophs and authors more recognized that make reference to
individualism:
Saint
Thomas of Aquino : individuality is what makes one thing of same naturaless be different from another. According to Saint Thomas the principle of
individualism is Material (>materialism..)
John Lock :his individualism was translated to a solepade economic egoism, in ''''cult of property'''' that made him exclude from his sosciety those who do now own any fortune. His society intends to harmonize originally aytonomous individuals.
Descartes : philosophically it''s the one who gave origin to individualism, father of modern racionalism, that gave birth to the ''''cogito ergo sum''''=I reflect, therefore I exist, he does not give
importance to the reltioship with all th rest, whose existence gets discovered only by thinking..(or conpemplating)..and points out the relaionship with the material world.
Nietzsche : obviously the most tragic one of individualism, one''s own affirm gets realised to the other''s expenses : the projume is an unavoidable bad thing, happening..
