The following
poem is about faith! I wrote this poem because in today's terrible times of terrorism and treachery , I realized only "faith" could keep us going.
faith could encompass different things for different people . For me, its my faith in "Time" that inspired me to write this poem . I strongly belive - "time's the best healer" . Good or bad...its the best remedy available . I wish to awaken the world , through this poem , to the faith in time, in
humanity which hitherto was in incognito...
"From a deep slumber , to the realities I wake ,
To walk this world , for humanities’ sake!
My tenure on this earth is ‘supposedly’ till eternity ,
I was born to forge relationships , to build fraternity !
I am the dark , I am the light ,
I am the weakness , I am the Might!
I
gave back to this world unconditionally, until…
Meaning and reason
began their ultimate kill!
Until…Man began to believe his very existence was due to a cosmic accident , ah! Me,
After all , he’s but a meaningless speck in this grand universe….he began to see!
Whatever happened to my silent promise ? , Thought I ,
To keep ‘em all together …was it a blatant lie??!!
Though electronically they are connected , yet
Humanity exiles in loneliness , its ‘division’ , they beget!
Desperately behind times , pathetically pretending they are not ,
Where had the euphoric torrent of humanity gone…why did they let it rot?
Its ‘belief’ that set the wheel in motion ,
Only the continuance of this
belief will keep it moving , sans tattered emotions!
Life itself is a sacred way of thanking ‘him’,
After all its he who gave you the ‘faith’ to brighten the dim!
Don’t let me slip into deep slumber yet again,
For I , ‘Faith’ , without whom , your conscience , you’ll slain!
After all its because of the faith that the day’ll dawn,
That you enter into a good night’s sleep , praying your worries be gone!!!”
