EPILEPSY, INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED AND OTHER INVALID DISABILITIES, – WHAT ARE THEY; WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT
THEM; Epilepsy is a problem that can apply to anyone; there are numerous ways in which it can spring up on us later on if not now.
There are 360 differing forms of Epilepsy, which can apply to anyone at anytime. This is the reason that Epilepsy needs to be added to the educational programs in order to educate a wider range of the society of today, as it is an important element of life.
To further enhance the Epilepsy issues it is hoped that this video will encourage you to follow up the points, which will be outlined in the video.
Now to further the matter we will now continue the educational program. It is:
The education program must encounter to provide:
1. A film to show the problems associated with Epilepsy on one occasion, then on another occasion an asthmatic condition sprung up.
2. After the film discussion on specific issues outlined in the film/s must be pointed out and discussed at length across the room/s in order to see if the audience really viewed and understood the film – in so doing it will show if they will be able to cope a person has a seizure at work as an example, If the can’t then it will prove how little attention if any certain members of the audience had paid during the video film/discussion which in itself will urge DEAC to see that the audience concentrate on DEAC’s time is not wasted.
3. Gave a break with a cup of tea. coffee
4. Get everyone to provide input to the butcher paper & see “everyone” contributes rather than too many points from one person.
People today tend to take Epilepsy as a joke. WHY – your guess is as good as mine.
They tend to treat sufferers in unusual and uncivilised ways – like when they pick on those persons who suffer from Epilepsy. To them it seems like a joke, whereas to those of us who are the sufferers it is more serious than they tend to realise.
That is where they must be made more aware of epilepsy and its side effects and what it has on the individual.
In so doing it is the one and only way of getting the message across to the society, and to make an effort to how they can learn & understand that Life in the big city is somewhat different to what it was yesterday and the people must be made aware that unless they are showing care & concern now they too will join the ranks of the DISABLED regardless of whether it be:
MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, SOCIALLY, PSYCHOLOGICALLY, VISUALLY, INTELLECTUALLY; - which once the ordinary person joins one or more of those ranks, the person/s will then find life quite different & difficult in certain strides for a start.
To eliminate discrimination and provide programs and activities for the
handicapped are as the theme for 1981 spell out” equally and full participation. Key points to be highlighted are:
Program accessibility * Barrier Free environs
Program accessibility requires programs and activities of institutions, which must be accessible in numerous ways to handicapped persons.
Program accessibility will require modification to institutions existing facilities; whereas structural changes will be required when there is no other feasible way to make a program or activity accessible.
The matter now is about the MENTALLY
The MENTALLY are gradually integrating into the Swedish society. The Swedes said t they have been separated by society by emphasising their divided characteristics, fostering myths about their dangerousness & unreliability, branding them as incapable of development and assigning them to residential forms which made social relationships with “normal” the people impossible,
One identity the mentally retarded have in common is their intellectual
Handicap. It is an impaired ability; to arrange and re-arrange understand, and remembers experience and symbol in the world about them; which eventually cause inferior abilities.
There also are other DISABILITIES that are INVISIBLE DISABILITIES, which in other instances are regarded as HIDDEN HANDICAPS.
Those sorts of DISABILITIES are not known about much at this stage as they have been hiding from society for far too long; now is the time when it is hoped that articles like this one can be followed on and thus enable us to make those individuals feel happy that someone has begun to show CARE & CONCERN to their DISABILITY.
As has been outcome some people have difficulty in understanding their family members chronic illnesses or pain; as they are able in most strides of life.
One of their difficulties is the way society treats them which heighten their need and ways in which encouragement v=can be achieved as encouragement is a key factor in life as in so doing it will get the individual further a field in many areas of Life.
A round up of other kinds of difficulties that apply to us which proves that we are all DISABLED in one or more of these INVALID DISABILITIES; they are DIZZINESS, COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENTS, MENTALLY HANDICAPPED, PSYCHOLOGICALLY HANDICAPPED, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED, AND OTHERS.
They will make life more worthy than it is now, in that way it will made life feel more happy which will overcome our NEGATIVENESS which finally will make us feel BETTER, BRIGHTER, AND HAPPIER which will reduce these unworthy habits of Life.
