Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon England. William

Shakespeare was one of three male sons. William Shakespeare was born during a

time in were the deathly plague known as the black dead that wiping most of

Europe killing one out of seven people. William Shakespeare was born April 23,

1564 and died April 23, 1616. William Shakespeare was born and raised by both parents his

father was John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. John Shakespeare worked as a butcher and

Mary’s job was a house wife. William Shakespeare is consider an English poet

writer who created many of the most famous plays during the late 1500 and early

1600’s. Through Williams carrier had created more than 38 plays 154 sonnets and

two long narrative poems. Williams work was translated to every possible language

spoken during the late 1500. Research shows that William Shakespeare used more than

29,066 different words were found in Williams plays. It is often said that William

Shakespeare was educated in the University of Stratford Grammar School in 1580 – 1582 it

is also said “ William Shakespeare worked as a Roman Catholic teacher. William at the age

of 18 married to Anne Hathaway who provided him with three children Susanna, Hamnet,

and Judith. In 1585 – 1592 William Shakespeare began a successful career as an actor in

London. William Shakespeare only son died Hamnet died in 1596 at the age of 11.
