Cleopatra S True Death

Website Summary   by:Sheyshellia
ª

The famous beautiful Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, who reigned between 51-30 BC, had a son, Octavian, and she made alliance with Marc Antoniu against him after her husband-Cezar s death.
But Marc Antoniu was defeated in the battle against Octavian, consequently both Cleopatra and him committed suicide.
She was too careful with her look to choose to die by poisonous snake bite, at least this is what the specialist Christoph Schaefer from the University of Trier sustains. Such a death is painful and it lasts long, also it produces a mutilation of the appearance. So, he considers that Cleopatra drank a cocktail made of opium, aconite and hemlock which produces a calm death in a few hours.
Maybe unnecessary to say, but, being given the fact it was spoken here about Cleopatra s position and historical evolution, after her death, Egypt became a Roman province.
