Jackson keeps on giving

Book Summary   by:NishanthiSiva     Original Author: unknown
ª

After 51 years of living, Tom Jackson, a settled man in Winnipeg has decided to give back to the world. He does many noble deeds to help out including raising money for the homeless across Canada, creating awareness of teen suicide, and helping give youngsters a good sense of right and wrong. Known as Tom the musician, who organizes the annual Dreamcatcher concert tour to spread information about teen suicides, or Tom the actor starring in a children's series, Mr. Jackson is found working productively on any given day. Recently, he has finished acting in The Longhouse Tales, a show in which he shares with kids some of the wisdom he has learned from his past experience on the streets. One of the most important maxim he hopes to teach is that "the gift is in the giving," which is what Tom is spending his late life accomplishing.
