This movie shows the
birth of Islam in Hejaz and eksplores challenges in the beginning of the
Islamic preachings. This is a really long and difficult anventure of the religion.
The religion—as the movie shows—has to break a structure of hard civilization
of Arab. Whereas, the men Islam has to face are in the big head and hard
desire. That would be known that struggle of the religion which brings new
matter revealed to messanger, Mohammad (peace be upon him), was difficult.
Islam teaches liberty, equality, justice, and humanity.
It was Mecca, the first place in which Islamic matters came
in. The matter was God’s messages revealed to His messanger and Gabril as an
agent. The firs matter was in Hiro’. The first verses speak about reading. That
meant spirit of liberty: leaving old-baded life to new-brighted life.
Allah ordered Mohamad to teach it to some persons in under
ground level. They consist of Mohamad’s family, near neighbour and friends
believing him. But finally, Allah orders Mohamad and his men to spread Islam to
society Mecca at large.
The matter was not accepted by most people of Mecca. They
did not want to move to the new matter breaking their old belief built by their
founding fathers. Than, they redused Mohamad and looked for him for killing. In
addition, Moslim of Mecca got discrimination. They were forced to come to their
old belif back. But they really have great ide and belief to stand in Islam.
The condition forces them to do Hijrah for seeking help from wise people
notabely kings in other country. First hijrah was visiting Ethiopia, Nejus’
empire. Than, the next hijrah was to stay in Yatsrib (it is now Medina).
Islam got advantages, and this religion spreaded hard and
hard. Then in many times, it give difficulties to Musyrikin of Mecca and make
some Battles, they are Badar and Uhud. Islam had many converters, so that in a
time, it came in and conquer it awasomely. After that, Islam begun to spread in
Mecca. The struggle of rising Islam was too hard and difficult. It takes
patience.
