Teachers are generous people and give of themselves and know not pain in giving and are quite right in expectations of obtaining a decent standard of living and a decent place to own of their own.
But as of now the Teaching Profession in England are undervalued by the Government ... known affectionately as H.M.Gov., and have decided to call their first strike in twenty years.
The straw that broke the camel's back ....... is .. teachers pay ... and even I as a retired member of the Profession would accept the claims that I am underpaid that I am undervalued that I am
not considered suitable to own my home or take my place in an Upper House of Teachers .. rather I am mocked and jeered by former students as a suitable victim of society.
So I am interested to see that its not myself alone that laments the loss of status, and pay plus own housing and its now gotten down and around to affect the rest of the Teaching Profession!
Will the students miss the Teachers at all or will they seek out new recruits or different ways of overlooking the great contribution the UK Teaching Profession makes to UK Life at Home and on the International Stage. I hope the Government sees fit to respect the Teaching Profession and award it its just rewards in a monetary sense as well as in an academic manner.
Thanks for the space ........ shvoong.com .. peace is slow and money in short supply! Keep on writing the poems .. and plays .. Goals and objectives ...
