Literature and its aftermath has long been a subject of discussion, debate and writing as I do in English and dare I say it I jot down some words in French - I took a moment or two to reflect on Literature today and its application to English As a Foreign language.
Long have I waited for a link to appear on a blog in a prestigious magazine or best selling literary publication or in the National Daily Newspapers but so far I have spotted nothing relevant.
So I got down to the hard graft of looking at Literature and centralized views as follows:
Literature: UK 1:
Literature: US 2:
Literature: EUROPE 3:
Literature: WORLD 4:
I have taught all four branches of literature and the reason I tread lightly and link Literature 4 as "The rest of the world" is due to the fact that it takes a linking into many parts, dialects, languages, shared languages, moments of change and political orders that it became so vast a subject that I decided to edit it into a general link.
Soft spoken languages or harsh languages contribute to Literature generally speaking so I am connecting with Oral as well as Written practice in relation to this paper on Literature. I hope the reader finds it helpful as it has taken me 3 years to download on websites to achieve a clear and concise reading of literature let me add ... World Literature to make it fully comprehensible and intelligible .. and capable of linking to EFL and its associates study ... thanks for support Southampton University Library .... keep on writing for money!
