In the midst of the chaos of traffic noise and partying I got back to the desk and found yet another delightful blog from the British Council in Turkey. Often since working full time for 20 years .. known locally, as The England Years ... I get a lot of correspondence to deal with and answer and I do it a step at a time.
I was pleased with these blogs from British Council in Turkey as it updates everyone on the new events and activities organised by British Council in Turkey. The field is wide open of course to one and all and in fact I wondered if the British Council in Turkey was looking .. albeit .. by the backdoor, for a writer to answer their blogs. As I seem the favourite at the moment here in England might I add that I could extend my range to include the British Council in Turkey.
But the news ia definitely all about education and I strain more these days towards arts or literature with a dash of theatre .. I have left behind him The Man in Charge, all the educational jargon and endless conflicts about the
definite article and the indefinite article running the show ... and I am sure you will find that these storms in teacups that once over balanced me are not a forgotten piece of paper in some guy's desk in the beautiful city of Istanbul. I am going there for 4 nights to Istanbul and it will be great to take a wander down the paths of memory lanes ... best keep on blogging to me British Council in Turkey .. and keep on sending in the work and I will write ... once more in Istanbul .. in October 08 ....
