we may call it as a dead method because people involve little or no interactive verbal language in purpose of communication. The learning focus is reading, writing, and structure and avoid speaking, listening, and interactive communication. Although language competence includes 4 skills but this method is still preserved until at present because grammar is the heart of language. It is the most essential component within. It also important to whom that access classical literature and pursue the higher education.

In Latin history, they call this method as classical method or at the moment well known as Method of Grammar translation. The term referred to the purpose of learning that is how to read classical Latin texts. In addition, they used it to get understanding and retaining the fundamentals of grammar and translation, and insights into some important other European languages.

This method is still acceptable in any institution as the objectives, features and typical techniques that contains language teaching philosophy
