Islam and
terrorism, these two words are totally
irrelevant. Love, peace, respect, virtue and humanity are the main
pillars of
Islam. It has nothing to do with terrorism. Even then wherever and
whenever a terror
incident occurs, unfortunately the suspicion leads to any
Moslem and after the investigation, unfortunately one or Moslems are found
involved in that incident. In my opinion, such people who are really involved
in terror incident should not call themselves as Moslem. Islam does not preach
to take the lives of innocents and cause damage to public or private
properties. Those who commit such terrorist act call it "Jihad".
No, that''s not jihad. Allah, please make them understand the real
meaning of jihad.
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) used to fight holy war (Jihad)
after he obtained apostleship. But the jihad in those days was done against
those who neither accepted Islam nor did they allow Mohammad (PBUH) and his
followers follow the path of Islam. Those
disbelievers used to tease them,
torture them mentally and even made efforts to kill Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in
order to stop them practicing Islam. At last, the prophet had to leave Mecca
(the disbelievers had already killed few Moslems by then) and had to migrate to
Medina along with the
remaining few Moslems. He then formed an army of only 313 people and fought his
first holy war against the disbelievers of Mecca
and gained victory over them. The rule for the jihads was no women, children,
aged and handicapped and sick person should be harmed. The war was to be fought
only against those young men who were the part of enemy force.
So, that was jihad which used to take place just for the
freedom to follow a religion liked by the people. Today, people of all the
communities, all over the world enjoy the freedom to practice their respective
religion, so there is no point of fighting any holy war by any community. The
question still remains, why the 9/11 incident took place?
