This is the unique story of the German band called "Tokyo Hotel".
Not 20 years old yet, and they are slowly taking over
the
music charts tops. They do it in German- and not in English as most of German artists had to perform since the world wars.
In Israel, it''s even more taboo to be hearing songs that are sung in German, because of the bad associations- and yet, the great success of "Tokyo Hotel" had reached the teenage sisters from Israel, Aviv & Litaf, that became the band''s fans and decided to do the impossible and make the band come to Israel and perform in Tel Aviv.
This is about to happen in the begining of October, during the band''s tour, and all because of the amazingly constructed campaign of the girls: They have built an
internet site for the band, and have gathered thousands of autographs by fans and sent it to the band- demanding to have the show in Israel.
"Tokyo Hotel" got the news from the Israeli Emmbassy in Germany and without questions accepted the grandious invitation.
Since then, "Tokyo Hotel" music is being played on the biggest radio stations in Israel, in their English version though- but it''s the start of a new era as it goes for the power of fans.
This story show that there is no goal you can''t achieve, only if you believe and go for it without consideration of what people might think.
