Mr. X has just joined in the a new organization. People are very happy and welcoming to him. But within a short span of co-working, they tried to analyze the behaviour and personal habits of new joinee. As soon as he gets frank with the old staff, people start teasing him or cribbing about him at the back. They also provide some sobriquate to him. But WHY?
It is really necessary to observe and analyze the personal habits of a new co-worker. Definately, NOT.
So, when a person joins to to you as your co-worker , we must accept that he
i) needs our help in sort of mentor.
ii) should be taught of all the rules and procedures prevailing in the organization.
iii) should be offered with personal help , if required in genuine.
iv) should feel at home. It is the prime duty of co-worker.
v) be accepted in full. EVERY ONE OF US HAS SOME PECULARITIES.
vi) be praised for his personal qulaification and experience.
vii) be given chance to give his input in any decision of the the team.
viii) should not be made ODD MAN OUT buy EVEN MAN IN.
IF we follow these steps then only we will be able to play our part being SENIOR IN THE ORGANIZATION.
