Relationship Between Science and Religion

Science is a reliable knowledge for human to learn about nature. By lean it to the reason and senses, science has been success in opening a big part of nature secret. But one thing that has to be realized is that science that arranged by knowledge is temporal and pragmatic. Science doesn’t found the eternal truth, but temporary truth that useful in particular time. This is very different with the moral that taught in religion, because it is eternal and permanent by the changing of time.

There is relationship between science and knowledge. Between them there is interaction, and relationship that influence each other.

· Science and religion can’t be separated or even opposed. Both of them should be considered as two things that build and complete each other[1].

· Human reason can’t be considered as a thing that has absolute autonomy, because there are parts of science development that can’t be answered by science itself, but it needs ethical answer that based on religion.

· Both science and religion has obligation to correct themselves. Because not only science should be developed, but religion also will develop continually[2].
