The Law of destiny explains your present status with respect to yor past . Law of Karma is an extension of law of destiny . It is not opposed to law of destiny . Law of Karma explains the entire phenomenon of life on the basic principle of cause and effect . The law covers your past, present and future . You are a product of the past . That is what law of destiny says . Law of karma says that you are not only the product of past but producer of future . With reference to your past action you are the product . Whereas with reference to your future action you are the producer . You are the product-producer at one and the same time . When your attention is on the past you believe yourself to be the product , victim , slave . But when you shift your attention to the future you consider yourself to be the producer , architect , master . Look back you are a pessimist . Look ahead you are an optimist . You know a pessimist is one who sees difficulty in every opportunity . Whereas an optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty . Knowledge of law of karma makes you optimistic in your life . You understand your present difficulties are the creation of your past unintelligent actions . You realise you have now the opportunity to create a better future for yourself . The law makes you aware you are the master of your own destiny.
