It was once said that the heart of India thrives in its villages and that work for the rehabilitation of the same is the highest form of service. In today's world of technological grandeur and immense urbanizationit it is indeed important that modernity enlarges its domain to include rural India-'The India of villages'. It is important that we start to acknowledge the true image of India- the India of over 6000 villages and over 20million Indians. It's time we start to look at the India whichlies beyond its metro cities, so as to incorporate a more holistic approach to our country's burgeoning economy.
