Who is Swami Vivekananda?
One of the greatest revolutionary figures in the Indian history is Swami Vivekananda. This summery is meant to introduce with his philosophy about the true essence of our life. What is life? Is it all about our earthly desires? Is it like a traditional path ending in death or an endless cycle? What is the ultimate truth of our life? All these questions are explained either implicitly or explicitly in his philosophy. Books written on him: The book “Bani O Rachana”, composed by his disciples is the true essence of his philosophy. This book is divided into twelve parts containing various aspects about Hindu philosophy, the concept of spirit, God and Godliness, ‘Karma’ (concept of true work), ‘Gyana’ (concept of true knowledge), ‘Vakti’ (concept of true worship). There are various other books written on this legendary figure and available in ‘Belur Math’ (India).
His views are still worshiped in India even in this era of scientific advancements, because he never deviated from scientific logic in any of his enlightenments. Truly, if a nation walks on the path shown by him, it will become heaven.
