Prayer: Inshallah!

Article Summary   by:SM THOMPSON     Original Author: SM Thompson
ª

I was feeling poorly and had to take time off work and rest up and take my medicine when a friend
emailed from Turkey enquiring about my whereabouts and where was I! What was I up to! Had I moved
away! Or better still perhaps I had remarried and gone off with Prince Charming!

None of these suggestions cut much cabbage so I took them in my stride, as afterall I had tightened my
belt, not cut any corners, and faced the wall without batting an eyelid. So the ball was firmly in my
court and I found I had to come up with an answer after my prolonged absence.

So I mentioned online rather meekly that I had been ill and was taking medication and my friend
replied that he was saddened by my news and wondered what he could do if in fact there was
anything at all, please let me know ... marked URGENT!

So I replied: I sent an email: and said he could pray for me as I believe in miracles! So my friend
replied:

INSHALLAH! I will pray for you!

So I was thrilled; I was delighted, excited, to get a positive response from my Turkish friend as normally
he is not a spontaneously sort of a bloke and this response was somewhat out of character so I was
pleased.

INSHALLAH means: God Willing!

So my friend will work with the possible: he will see what he can do: he will sort something out:
he will try again later: will keep him posted on outcome: Hard work Pays UP!
