A touching book that transforms the life of the readers with its novel ideas and concepts springing from the deep spiritual insight of the authors. This is a MUST read of every Christian and those trying to find out the PURPOSE of life.Ideal as a present to those confirmed in the Christian faith and a handy tool for ministers of God. Created to be Whole is the final part of a trilogy, written as a series of 'workbooks' for personal growth and development. They are designed for people to use on their own,in small groups or to work through with the help of a counsellor. The first in the group Created for Love addresses the fundamental issue of how we feel about ourselves, and how we develop a healthy sense of self-worth.The second book Created for intimacy moves on from there to explore ways of building a good relationship both with fellow men and with God.Created to be whole builds on these two and explores how to become a whole, mature and balanced person physically ,intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. More about it: As someone said Who we are is God's gift to us;who we become is our gift to God Whole people keep growing to maturity in all aspects of their life. All parts of our person need attention in order to become whole in a balanced way.Wholeness does not happen overnight.
Its a gradual process. This book reflects some of the authors' own journey, and includes materials they have taught in seminars and workshops over more than two decades. The book is divided into two parts Understanding Wholeness and Developing Wholeness consisting of 3 and 6 chapters respectively Understanding Wholeness: In this part the concept of wholeness, the ways to achieve it and the hindrances to becoming a wholoe person are explored. The concept of Wholth along with its models such as the Western medical approach ,Wellness model,Jewish and Christian models is contrasted to the concept of Illth which is characterised by personal drivers and personal burnouts. Developing wholeness: This section deals with understanding and developing wholeness in the five main areas of life namely Physical,Intellectual,Emotional,Social and Spiritual in the first five chapters and concludes on the experience of a joyful celebration of life when we are being transformed and are growing towards our full potential,to become all that God created us to be.
