Women really has the tendency to talk a lot of non-sense, I wrote this hoping to better their understanding about
what
marriage is all about in Biblical Standards.
(1 Timothy 2:11-14) “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.” Women must learn to be silent. It is because a lot of women are noisy, especially the married ones. She talks endlessly until midnight. Her
husband was already half-asleep, but still, she was nagging him. She never stopped from talking. Until her husband got fed up. So, he warned her ("Will you stop talking") But she kept on talking, so he gave her a slap. She was knocked down. But when she woke up, she started talking again. And louder this time! Considering her as a weaker vessel the Husband ignores her as the wife continuously talks non-sense. This are the reasons why one of the commandments of God to women says, Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. There is never a harder job for the wife than be a good wife to her husband most specially if they have kids. A woman must be under the subjection of her husband. Women we're never given the right to be independent. God has placed the woman under the authority of a man. Remember Eve? He went out to the wilderness without the consent of Adam, and ofcourse you know what happened after that. Then there's Solomon who was separated from God by his women, Samson fell prey to the Philistine through Delilah, and so on...
Proverbs 14:23 "In all labour there is profit; but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury" Every labor is profitable, but not are gained out of a talkative mouth. If you are a woman, does it profit you to talk a lot? There was a tactless woman who, after quarreling with her husband, divulged to her neighbors and friends and shares the issues of their problems in the Family, telling lies about her Husband. Yes, believe me a wife that is not from God wont think twice of doing this. Marriage is a sacred responsibilty given by God to a couple, and there are no other persons who can solve their problems in the family other than themselves.
Proverbs 27:15 "A continual dropping in a very rainy day...and a contentious woman are alike"
Proverbs 21:9 "It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a
brawling woman in a wide house."
Proverbs 21:19 "It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a
contentious and an angry woman"
Ephesians 5:24 "Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ,
so let the wives be to their husbands in everything."
Consider a Married Man's church is his family as Christ is (The HEAD of the church). Don't let the woman crucify you as the Jews and Gentiles did to Christ. God's people are not ment to be headed by women! Remember that in the Church which the Bible speaks of, there are NO domineering wives.
Proverbs 19:14 "House and riches are the inheritance of fathers; and a prudent wife is from the Lord." A prudent wife comes from the Lord. Therefore, if a wife is prudent, then she is a gift from God to her Husband, A marriage that is BINDED by God is never ment to be broken.
John 8:47 "He that is of God heareth God’s voice words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." Ofcourse... A wife that is not from God is from the Devil. Are you married to one? The wife may bring more food to the table, she may have a stronger personality than her husband but that doesnt give the wife the right to nag on her behalf, in these World that God has given us we are bounded by Biblical truths which we often forget to follow, there is never a good profit you can get out of a talkative and demoralizing mouth and same goes to the husband. If your marriage is becoming a "Living Hell" because of a domineering mouth, then the marriage is more likely had been binded by the Devil and not by God, and watch them file a divorce after a month, why? coz they were never binded by God in the first place.
(1 Corinthians 14:34) “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.”
(Ecclesiastes 7:26)
“And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.”
(Isaiah 3:12)
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”
verse after verse the Bible has reiterated how weak and desastrious an evil women can be.
These are the very scriptures which in the time of Adam and Eve we're already being commandeth to them for so many years and they have successfully seeded the earth and here we are still trying to avoid the mistakes Eve has made (convincing adam to disobey a direct order from God). Even the relationship between Israel and God was likened to that of a marriage, (how God loved the people of Israel in their time was incomparable.)
Most women wouldn't agree and may often be combative with regards to issues concerning their rights being equal to men and that is not even the issue... I stand to the divine principle outlined by God in the Bible, and respect God above women which basically should be the ultimate principle in a marriage.
