I often get complimentary copies of books and the title is rather engaging .. and as I pour through the pages of yet another big book its really the theme of "bestseller" that draws me to these books.
Often I have discussed it with the young man at Waterstones and how all these rather timid looking slightly shy authors that I met in classrooms and University Seminar Rooms are ... I discovered .. "Bestselling authors". We used to say to our friends about such issues ... "one would never think to look at her" .. and she is the type where "butter wouldnt melt in her mouth" .. but behind that facade of straightness and sobriety there lurks an aggressive devil woman whose only attribute in life is "best selling". She has what it takes and her concealment never gives away her secrets other than "on the bestseller lists" all across the world.
