Am I the only one who has my eyes open? I see all that is going on around me and I see so many thing that I don’t like. I see war, pollution, hatred and crimes. I see it every day in the comfort of my home. I hear people say, no my kids can’t watch those cartoons, they are too violent. At the same time in the news they have murder and crimes every day. Many times it is very graphic.
Do we think that reality is a cartoon and that the cartoon is reality? Maybe some do. It is like they don’t see what is going on in the real world. I wish that we could rewind the time and maybe have a safer environment but instead we have to open our closed eyes.
We have to see what is going on all around us in order to be able to live our lives in a good way. Whether we live it in a good way ore not, is up to us. As adults we have the power to decide over our own lives. Off course that can be difficult for some people depending of what situation they are living in. I don’t think that everyone including myself is completely pure. We all brake rules whether we know it ore not. I don’t expect people including myself to be perfect, but we sure can try to do our very best. I try to do things in the right way. That is all that we can ask of someone. That we try our very best. As an example, I could never steal.Why? Because what is not mine from the beginning is not mine. If I want to have something, I either have to buy it and if I don’t have money for it then I have to save until I can get it. That is the right way to do things. It also feels better knowing that you have paid for what you own. So many people close their eyes and just don’t care. I never want to be that kind of a person. I would not like myself. I feel good about being who I am and that I have the values that I have. Things that have happened in my life have made me humble but have also opened my eyes. I never want to close them again.
