Ace of Base is one of my favourite groups, and if it is one of yours, then this
website is well worth a visit. As far as
official sites for bands go, this site is quite substantial. The Swedish foursome was one of the premiere Europop/Eurodance acts of the 1990s and they continue to produce high quality music now, continuing the legacy of ABBA in the 1970s and Roxette in the 1980s. However, that is not to say that Ace of Base are in the shadow of ABBA or Roxette; they are very much an original act in their own right, as witnessed by the worldwide popularity of their music. Tracks such as All That She Wants and The Sign are memorable examples of a
number of hits that topped the charts in many countries, particularly in Europe and here in Australia.

These should be of interest to anyone curious about the band and their work. I myself have one of their greatest hits albums; it always makes me feel good and so I recommend it to anyone who likes well-crafted pop music with meaningful lyrics; attributes which pervade Ace of Base's music - more than can be said for many other artists in the genre. Jenny, Linn & Jonas Berggren and Ulf Ekberg are a highly talented quartet; this website will give you an idea of their songwriting, vocal and technical capabilities, while actually purchasing one of their albums will obviously give you an even better idea. In the meantime, have a look at a site which has had over 180000 visitors to date - a testament to the group's ongoing appeal. The group's most ardent fans even have a name - apparently they are collectively known as Acers.
