This website is amazing! If you are a
fan of Ziggy Stardust, A.K.A. David Bowie, then you can not miss this web site. One of
Rock and Rolls greatest legends of the 70’s when he was punk (forget about that disco album), the 80’s when he was rock, the 90’s when he was a part of the Tin Machine, hanging out with Trent and so much more, and into the new millennium.
There are several Bowie fan sites out there, come on he’s a Rock and Roll God, but I believe—as a fan myself—that this is his best and certainly his most
information rich site. This site certainly doesn’t exist in the cyber past, it is right here and now and constantly updating with more news of the man, his work, and his upcoming tour events or music releases.
Visually the site is broke up into a kind of standard three column format, with the middle column displaying a photo of David in stunning black and white. Along the side columns information rules and is broken up into the following categories: Information, sounds, visions, interactions, shopping, search, columnists, thoughts,
FREE EMAIL. With all of these categories there is so much to discover about the man, but also there is a
lot of opportunities to connect with other Bowie fans. The
chat room which can be found in the interaction category is a lot of fun if you want to chat about concerts you’ve seen, paraphernalia you are looking for or anything else for that matter.
In conclusion, this site will take you several hours to look through, but it is well worth the time spent. Tons of things are available both for free and in the shopping area you can pick up lots of items. There is so much on this site it is a little difficult to know where to start, so allow me to make a suggestion and that would be to start at the VISIONS category. This is full of photos of David both during his life on stage, back stage, and even with his lovely wife.
