In surface mounting technology(SMT),soldered joint data information is the basis of process automation in partial reflow
soldering .The methods of surface mounting technology printed circuit board (SMT_PCB)
image processing ,SMT_PCB soldered joint type and location information automatic gaining were introduced in this paper.The SMT_PCB image processing technology in the paper includes noise eliminate,image black white and object repair.After SMT_PCB image had been analyzed,template and arithmetic operator were put forward to judge the high frequency noise in image.With the method of using noise judged template and operator to judge high frequency noise first and then filtrate it,the high frequency noise was successfully eliminated.An improving noise eliminated difference template based on the analysis of object and background gray value also has been developed to eliminate the low frequency noise in image.After noise in image has been filtrated,the maximum variance method was used to finish image binaries.For the binary image,an object repaired operator has been put forward to repair the object.Considering character of the soldered joint,
pattern matching method has been proposed,and the soldered joint location information data has been automatically gained by using different types soldering joints as pattern.It was proved that the technology put forward in this paper is effective.
