A PC based method is presented for realizing effectively motion simulation of
machining center. The method is characterized
prominently by the hierarchical modeling of the environment of geometric verification in a way from simple to complex. The authors give here the binary directed structural diagram and the structure motion characteristic matrix for realizing motion simulation of 5 axis NC
machining center, by which the information of geometric structure and the information of motion pattern from machining center can be effectively integrated into one matrix and the data processing by algorithm of motion simalation can thus be facilitated. In addition, the author give here an example based on motion simulation of this environment and also the effect of
NC program verification of complex curved plane. As shown by result of operation, this settling plan is an effective method for realizing the NC program verification of complex curved plane on PC, it extends the application of NC program verification system.
