Guixi Smelter and by means of reconstructing the barrel of the drying kiln, increasing its rotating speed, adding gap regulation system between the rotating gears and the barrel,slumps of copper concentrates in the kiln has been eliminated;the handling ability of the drying kiln reaches 120t/h,exceeding the original designed capacity;and the smooth progress of the technical
reconstruction engineering 1542 of Guixi Smelter has been guaranteed In the article,problems occuring after the reconstruction and overload of the
electrical machinery have been analysed;the relevant parameters have been determined;the power of the electrical machinery has been calculated in theory;problems occuring after the reconstruction have been solved, strengthening equipment maintenance,improving reliability of the reconstruction of the large drying kiln and achieving smooth and safe operation of the kiln
