Aperture Priority - www.bajgar.me.uk/aperture/

Website Review   by:The Doctor

Brilliant photographic website with pictures for every taste. From the first moment of entering the site where that haunting picture of ''Grigari''s'' eye watches you from the corner, you realise that there is something special about the work done by this ''artist''. The home page easily directs you to different styles of work and/or purchase pages where you can be one of the first to own your own ''Grigari''. From portraiture, through Fine Art to Commercial it generates a momentum towards the store and related DeviantArt webpage. Even if the featured images on the Home page were not enough you soon realise the wealth of choice available as you pick your way through the work that instantly comes up on screen when you click on it. I''m not sure which impresses me most - the images shown on the site or the site itself. If you''re like me and visit a plethora of so-called professional web sites only to discover a missing weblink or a slow ''call-up'' on screen, a confusing home page or just an absence of useful information, then this site is an absolute blessing. It''s so easy, perhaps because it doesn''t try to do too much! For example, there is no ''sell-out'' to the advertisers, so no pop-ups or endless column list of sites you may, or more likely may not, be interested in - just a clear view of this photographer''s work. Actually, there is ''one'' link, almost hidden away in the top right hand corner - for the Make Poverty History.org website - clearly not a money making advert and one that impresses the visitor in this money creation orientated world in which we live - how refreshing!! So, if you''re looking for that something which is just a little bit different (and can read some of the small font that appears but concentrate on the terrific images), then this is a site you should not miss.
