If the writing is on the wall, if we're to finally surplant our
editorialism with truth and less 'info-tainment', if
more of us should
not only check our facts, but include them, this is evidence of what
may lead to an eventual backlash against
blogging.
It wouldn't be so
interesting, cause me to salivate as much, if it weren't the Post that is in question.
It gets even better; the Post responded, stating that they did "plenty of background checks" on the goods, denying that pressure from the right-wing forced them to come to terms with the indiscretion.
So
blogging, typically, is most interesting when art imitates life and it
collides with traditional media. What a shame too, what a shame ...
