My
favourite dictionary can be anything you choose it to be but be careful to consider the selection. For example I was en route Vienna Austria and I phoned my ex and he was so excited that I was leaving for good that he said rather hurriedly, (as I gather he was on his way to
New Zealand with his new wife!) "pack a dictionary" .... I didnt have
time
time to select my favourite dictionary but got the smallest one on earth to fit into the available space. And thought nothing more of it and was ready with all the passports up to date!
The Whole thing fell through .. I set my mind on being the writer of the year and having my
book chosen as the Book of the Year and joining the best seller list as a poet ... and left the German dictionary there for keeps!
Imagine my surprise when HM Government took this comment literally and cut off all my
cheques in the belief that I had moved to Vienna Austria! Alas! No! I am still here and not in Austria at all and have had to write begging letters to HM Government and get the whole system totally reinstated and have the computer booted in.
So the line then is .... what is my favourite dictionary ... the one that gets me out on time and with the money and work ...... keep on reading .. and my cheques with me too!
