Ahh...worthy invention! I can't have enough of you. I have given up writing letters, going to
cinema halls for
movie tickets, buying music, reading books, and so much more. Ohh readers, don't think that I am a hopeless case of banality. I am so not that. It''s the INTERNET which gives me all. I don't have to get my articles published in newspapers and magazines, I can blog them. I don't have to phone any cinema hall for the movie schedules, I can search them. I don't have to
buy any new album, I can download the songs. I don't have to buy books and spend time reading them, the summary would suffice. All this and more, makes me think about my existence. Isn't it very momentary? I mean it wouldn't be far when we would need robots to brush our teeth, to get us a glass of water, to gorge down our food, etcetera. Internet and technologies have sure made their ways successfully felt. Also they have made our lives a better and comfortable piece. But don't they actually make us dependable slaves? Well aren't we hooked on to the
NET for every single information? Where did our old "best friends" books go? Our forefathers; Einstein, Newton, Archimedes, and the gang, to be precise, might not be very pleased to see their predecessors lurking away in such a "net savvy/technology savvy" era. Well, taking the risk of being called a conservative, I attempt to throw some light on the scenario of the net/technology dependent generation with the above written bit of article.
