My Review of MyLot.com
I came across MyLot.com in one of the forums I joined. The person who recommended MyLot.com
to me mentioned in his post in that forum, that MyLot.com pays for people to post on their site. Since I do some posting to other forums, I though it might be a good idea to just check out this forum.
The first time I clicked on the link to MyLot.com, I was already a bit disappointed. Loading of the pages seemed to quite some time. Since it was taking some time, I was expecting the website to have some heavy graphics. I was not disappointed. Unlike any other forum, MyLot.com covers a very wide variety of topics from the usual “making money online” topics to sports, issues about life, religion politics, social issues, travel and leisure. It even has topics such as music, movies, gardening and cooking.
Since it had a wide range of topics, I decided to join. This would be an interesting place to post and discuss topics. The registration process took quite some time. When you register, MyLot.com will ask you about your interests. It has quite a few categories of interest such as travels, computers, internet, music, movies, life, religion. During the registration process, you select all the things and topics that interest you. Once you have registered, you can immediately start posting.
When I first started posting, I was overwhelmed with the topics that other posters were discussing. There were just too many categories and too many topics to discuss. After a few days, I started to get the hang of it and started posting topics of my own.
As for earning through you
postings on MyLot.com, my advice is not to quit your day job. It is true you can earn from the postings, however the amount you earn is very small. I haven’t figured out yet how they calculate how much to pay for your postings. As for me, I earn roughly 1 cent per posting, and so far I’ve only made about 30 posts. According to MyLot.com, they decide how much to pay you for a posting based on the length and quality of the post.
Now I’m a regular in MyLot.com. I still post to other forums but MyLot.com has become my favourite. I’m still waiting for my earnings from the postings. I haven’t earned enough from my postings yet.

Pros
The website is a nice place to build a social network. Although it is a forum, but it can also be used as a social
networking site where you can meet people from all over the world. Similar to other social networking sites, you can upload images and photos, make friends, and send messages to other people in the MyLot community.
Cons
The website takes some time to load. I find that navigating from one page to the other takes a bit of time and posting is not as straightforward. It’s quite difficult for you to keep track of some of your posts or topics you’re interested in. It does take a while for you to learn how to optimise the usage of MyLot.com.
Summary
MyLot.com is an up and coming forum, which is increasing in popularity everyday. There are currently over 120,000 members and the membership is growing everyday. I find this forum as a very good place to learn, discuss and also to make new friends
