Associated Press have blogged from Paris re the meeting given by Bob Geldof and Bono who are involved in a G8 View of financial
aid for Africa to alleviate suffering from poverty and Aids.
The USA and the UK are up to date and will meet their financial commitments by 2010.
But Germany, Italy Canada are way off target ... France and French aid fell to an all time low ..and the figure quoted is $66 million ... France is falling behind the financial deadline/target.
To get the best out of the world and its banks the two Irish Rock Stars cum Activists have staged this Committee Meeting in Paris for the Press to draw attention to these desperate facts. I wonder where all the money is coming from as nobody around me has any more money at all and its always the same the begging letters come to me ........
