PRICE- Set aside a reasonable budget for purchasing your dream car.
BE REALISTIC- If you have a family
of four and you
purchase a two-seater Volkswagen, this will do you no good. You might want to try a bigger and more comfortable vehicle.
TWO-SEATER SYNDROME- Lets face it. Many of us have dream our first car to be a Camero or a two seater Ford Mustang. This however may do well for twenty somethings but if you are often required to haul equipment onto your vehicle, then this is an definite No, No. Bigger equipment such as monitors or speakers demands bigger space and investing in a vehicle such as minivans, land cruisers and/or SUV's could be beneficial in the long run.
LOCATION PRIORITY: You may be staying at a ranch or a city and you would need an appropriate vehicle to go with it.
PETROLEUM VERSUS MILEAGE- Do you travel very far to work, if so you may need to consider a smaller car. There are many people I know who purchase User Friendly vehicles. By User Friendly, I mean cars which do not use much Petrol or cover more milage with less petrol consumption.
TEST-DRIVE- When taking the car on a test run, makes sure you are comfortably seated. Adjust the seat levers. If you still feel uncomfortable, you might want to reconsider your choice.
IN DEMAND VEHICLES- Read about the cars you have in mind before you go ahead and purchase. Alternatively ask your friends, neighbors or family for their preferred and reliable car types.
NEGOTIATING WITH THE CAR DEALERS- Cars prices hike up and down often, so you may want to negotiate the price of the car well so that both you and your car dealer have their fair share. Remember the Actual price of the car may be far less than the Advertised price so bargain as much as possible.
