I am happy these days to watch Paris Fashion Week with the superslim models and the truly lovely outfits with the Oriental
look and those hats ... do make everyone look tall!
But I noticed that a few names have appeared once again that I knew from my career days in and out of the sun ....Armani, Chanel, and Karl
Lagerfeld. Armani I was first introduced to in Ireland during my Commissioning of a Play by the Abbey Theatre (and also Valentino - in fact I never out of the shop).
But Chanel is a long term favourite and I bought my first Chanel outfit just after I came back from living in America near San Francisco ...... it was an absolute dream of a coat .. which I got from the Chanel Collection at Winchester.
Glenn Close is a well known actress and I read quite a lot about her too in blogs and other materials ... she is a friend of Armani and loves to wear Armani clothes which Armani makes for her!
As far as Karl Lagerfeld is concerned .. this great designer I read about at the local Hairdressers at Winchester and my friend recommended this hairdresser to me and for awhile I used to travel over to have my hair done . and during the long wait for my turn to come .. I got magazines planted on my lap and I read and read ......... guess what .. all about Karl Lagerfeld. In this
Australian blog as in those magazines several years ago, Lagerfeld has a deal of style about him .. I was impressed by his big tie! Nice work .
