attachment this morning from Turkey's Onder Dil Language School in Eskisehir and the subject is ...
LOVE 2008 .. the
attachment depicts this style of sand drawing where the artist's hand flashes over the screen and seems to fill in everything as it happens in simultaneous action
The characters depicted are a woman and a man and the artist fills in - face eyes and body plus hair and then does the same for the character of the man.
In the background there is delightful Jazz music playing and the image is powerful and evocative and creates a nice happy start to the morning . almost like teaching your class how to look at the board and take something in thats
positive and create a positive image of cartoons and sketches I suppose rather than parody or mimic or humiliate the human race ... those who do both of course make their fortunes in so doing and good luck to them. As for myself I write .. and my poem /Positive Image/was in an anthology Free Verse www.forwardpress.co.uk No 1 in the UK .. nice work and thanks Istanbul for the memories .. Love 2008!
