Kumo: the latest Search Engine by Microsoft. It’s a smart service which
displays images, videos, news and pages in the same
screen. Once the user writes www.kumo.com in his/her
explorer (Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer…), he or she will be able to see a huge title placed in the upper left corner. It says Kumo in big, blue letters. Eventually, what the Internet users look for are appropriate pages that match with their interests. For instance, if someone types the keyword or clue word Car, the
searcher would show results related to that topic. Therefore, Microsoft promises that its new search engine is smart and it shows the best images or websites that the user could find.
Live.com was the other searcher that Microsoft tried to become the most popular, but they have considered that it’s time to rebrand the service.
Another recent search engine is Wolfram Alpha. I added a link to a review of this service in the reference of this synopsis.
