The Importance of the
Seaweed. The seaweed are aquatic plants, found in the sea or fresh water. They have different sizes:
they can to be microscopical or to have many meters of lenght. Some seaweed can serve as food to the people, as salads made with the proper plant, sauces, candies and soups. That because the seaweed contains nutritional substances. In ices cream, icings, jellies are used extracted substances of certain seaweed. They also can be used as seasoning, antibiotics and rations for animals. Most interesting on the seaweed is that they are excellent producers of oxygen, therefore they have chlorophyll and they carry through photosynthesis. By photosyntheses the seaweed also produce sugars and proteins that will serve of food for proper plant and animals, between them the man. The seaweed more than liberates in air 50% of the oxygen produced in
waters of the rivers and seas. But the
pollution of waters has affected the life of seaweed. The sewer excess that comes of the houses and of the industries it provokes the development of certain types of seaweed that produces color, taste and I smell ackward in the water. The pollution of waters also intervenes with the alimentary chains where the seaweed serves of food for small fish as the sardines, that in turn, they are foods of bigger fish as the sharks and whales that serve of food for proper man.
