Craigslist.org

Website Review   by:MistyNunn

For many individuals, Craigslist.org has proven to be the best online classifieds. In fact, this is a site with conscious. Most people have heard of the Craigslist site as a great place to find employment, and other items, and it is. However, little people know just how great this site really is.

In fact, the site originated when Craig Newmark decided to inform people about local businesses and events in the San Francisco area. The popularity of the site boomed and rather than selling ad space Craig founded a non-profit organization instead. The non-profit side is devoted to promoting philanthropy and giving non-profit entities a place to promote their causes.

However, many individuals and employers also benefit from Craigslist ads. In fact, Craigslist is a great resource for anyone looking for a telecommute employer, or employee. Many happy employees have found positions as a result of Craigslist online ads. They are a lot easier to use than other online classifieds because you don’t have to register, there aren’t any ads, and everything is easy to find.

You can also place personal ads and search for apartments, cars, and services. In addition there is also a place to blog. In addition, there is a area for teacher’s wishlists. In this area schools can list much needed items. They can then notify others may be able to donate items on their wishlists. This is part of the humanitarian side of the Craigslist site.

As you can see, Craigslist.org is more than just an online Classifieds site. It is a site devoted to bringing people valuable information. They are also devoted to bringing individuals valuable information about worth while causes. The internet can use more sites like Craigslist that are devoted more towards building up funds for worthy causes rather than keeping the money to themselves.
