The scandal
making the rounds in Ukraine and environs is the news of how Andrei Yushchenko the errant son of the President
of Ukraine has ripped off the
people of Ukraine by making a fortune from his intellectual piracy of the collector’s items of the celebrated Orange Revolution.
The President of Ukraine must be careful; otherwise his greedy son could derail his political future. Because, his eyes were not closed when Andrei Yushchenko monopolized the Intellectual Property of the Orange Revolution and started making a fortune from the
memorabilia. Father and son are partners in this crime. I am very disappointed in Viktor Yushchenko. This is a betrayal of the tenets of the populist Orange Revolution. Now I am beginning to see the cracks in the character of the President of Ukraine like the scars on his face. How ironical that his scarred face could be illustrative of his true nature. Scary?
Why should the President and his son register the copyrights of the memorabilia of the Orange Revolution in their personal names? This is unbelievable! This is corruption in high places.
Why should the President of Ukraine encourage his wayward son to be selling public property to enrich himself? Buying an expensive BMW M6 and living large like a Hollywood teen idol and rock star.
The copyrights of the memorabilia of the Orange Revolution are estimated to be worth over a whopping $100, 000,000 (one hundred million dollars) and the proceeds were initially going to be donated to charity. And imagine how such a huge fortune could be of immense benefit to the welfare of the ailing children of Chornobyl. Because the Children of Chornobyl Relief Fund (CCRF) needs more aid from the government of Ukraine.
How could Victor Yushchenko allow his errant son to steal the public property of the people of Ukraine, because all the mementos of the Orange Revolution belong to all the people who suffered in the chilling cold of the last winter to revolt against the evils of the former President and supported Viktor Yushchenko and Yulia Tymoshenko in the celebrated Orange Revolution that won the hearts of the majority of the people of Ukraine and gave Yushchenko and Tymoshenko victory to form a new government that the rest of the world gave their best wishes to and looked up to the bloodless Orange Revolution as an example worthy of emulation in the pursuit of true democracy in justice and peace. But, the scandal of the corruption of Andrei Yushchenko could tarnish the image of the father and jeopardize his political career.
The sooner that Viktor Yushchenko calls his errant son to order the better for him.
