This is a
website that invites you to
write or submit a poem and it may or may not qualify as a winning entry. If they do decide to choose your piece of
writing for publication, they will entice you with all types of incentives where they can make money from your own art
work. I feel as an author and
submitting my work to them that I should be entitled to the monetary awards that they promise.
I went on another website that
warns writers about this type of writing website and warns you to be aware of all the glamour and glitz that they offer to try to tempt you to write.
I submitted
poetry to these sites and believe me, I have seen nothing but them sending me things in the mail asking me to buy the book that they are going to publish my peom in and the next or latest thing that I have received is now they are offering to put these poems along with 32 other authors on a 3-cd set available for $49.00. They should be paying us for our work, for without our work, how would they be able to promote their products or services. If you write or enter contests, check out these places with the BBB before giving in to them. They may not be legit. Please be careful when submitting your work to various places.
Watch out for poetry.com or the International Library of Poetry or the International Society of Poets. They are only out there to put money in their pockets not to award an author what he or she should rightfully own.
