earth, ad aware se personal, and much more, are free to download, at Google. Google has this free software pack, known as Google-packs, available free of cost. Every one must check out this, once. I will describe some of the features of a few free software’s. Starting with Google earth. Google earth as every one think, a good video card is must, which is absolutely wrong. Actually no video card is required, the only thing that is required is a broadband of 256k, though if you are less than this speed of internet, and you will be still be able to use it but will take some time. Google earth is not a big software, around 20mb which can be downloaded easily. What is Google earth? It’s a simple software that let's you see anything, anywhere in the world, with nasa's satillites. The satellite images will directly be broadcasted into you computer and you will be able to see anything. They say it's a bird's eye view, which is not quite correct, as it's not a bird’s eye view but it's more of an aero planes eye view. Also I have figured that the metro cities are more clearly visible than the small town. Some of the big towns of the world are visible clear enough from 500 fetes above the ground. The second am talking about is the Norton antivirus and the ad-aware personal. these two are really good, and they are enough popular, so I
don't need to talk about these in detail, also ad-aware se personal is absolutely free and is the best adware and spy ware catching tool. Another very good software is the Picasso. This is the best photo editing and viewing tool you will every have. Fire fox, the famous
mozila browser, is available for download free at Google pack. What is mozila browser? I think every one knows about internet explorer, right. But internet explorer 5 and 6 are very slow browser, and every one is frustrated with that. Internet explorer, also known as the IE, is the default browser for any
windows. The old browser of the windows98 was IE4, which is outdated and most of the applications don't work on them. Windows xp comes with a IE6, which world descent and don’t have big problems, but still it crashes one day and also is not really fast enough. After that Microsoft launched the IE7 beta1, which crashed in a day after I installed. My system restore was turned off, and I had to format the whole system, so I strongly recommend not to use it. Then the beta 2 came up and then beta 3. Nothing works, so I have started using mozila, it’s free and it’s fast. But the speed and performance is not the only reason of using the mozila firefox. The most important feature of fire fox is the tabbed browsing. It’s very easy, you just need to
open a site, and then if you find a link, right click on it and select as open in new tab, and the link will be opened in a new tab, rather than a new window, it makes browsing so easy, you can open 50 tabs together, and all of them will work as fast as a single open window. Think for yourself if you open 50 IE windows together then, you system will hang, or crash. But mozila is so great that it will never crash. No harm in trying it out, it’s very stable, and if you don’t like it, just uninstall it. There are many such useful software’s available in the Google pack, explaining each one is not quite possible, so am not telling any more, see it for yourself, you will get every thing there free, so start downloading.
