Common sense media is dedicated to improve the media and entertainment lives of children and households.The mission statement of this site is what sold me on how important this knowledge is for every parent.
Mission statement , We exist because media and entertainment profoundly impacts the social,emotional and physical development of our nation's children.As a non-partisan,not-for-profit organization,we provide trustworthy information and tools, as well as and independent forum,so that family's can have a choice and a voice about the media they consume.


COMMON SENSE: Goes over each of these concerns and offer some sound advice and even sounder tips to help decisively protect our children when they are on the Internet and when they are at home.

The five Internet challenges for parents: Keeping up with our children is hard to do,kids go online with out us,our kids know more than we do,its a user-generated content world,and we butt into our kids lives at a time when developmentally, they desire to be independent.

Common sense media offers points and guidance on all the sensitive issues that are significant to our children when they are on the Internet.Insight from supportive parents on what they have perceived their children doing on the Internet and what they don't want their children to come in contact with.With a resource section to assist us to protect our children and a free weekly updates on the Internet delivered right to your inbox.A htlm code that you can place on your web site for your viewers so that everyone can get valuable information on what is safe for children whether it be on the Internet or in tv or from music.The htlm code is available and is very valuable for anyone who utilizes it.



In conclusion I have been sold on this site.Common sense is a site set up to graciously help decisively protect our children when they are on the Internet.They offer a broad variety of free information on just about anything you could require guidance on for your kids safety.Safety for children is their top priority at home and on the internet.This is a must see for your self site and has so much beneficial information that it sells it self and has sold me,I added it to my favorite list,and will revisit it often.
