Summer Honey Surprise in England Home

Website Review by: China White

With the arrival of hot summer season, Europe has faced a series of death cases brought by the heatwave. However, in the
midst of tragic stories from the extreme heat, one resident in Bristol was swarmed by a sweet surprise with free flow of honey oozing through his wall. According to Russian Ties news network, the heatwave had affected Great Britain severely, the British meteorological department's records showed that July had seen the most frequent daily high temperature of 30 degrees celsius and above, claiming it to be the hottest in historical records. While everyone is absorbed in finding measures to keep cool, a resident in Bristol, Anthony Kemp, was intrigued by an interesting encounter in his old house.
Anthony recalled that day, he and his wife, Wengrace, were chilling out in their home when they started to realise some yellow fluid seeping out from the corner of his ceiling. They instantly thought that their neighbour's home must be flooded and hurriedly went upstairs to alarm their neighbour. Puzzled by Anthony's explanation, their neighbour showed them that their house was dry as a desert.
To solve the mysery, Anthony, aged 67, climbed up to his wall to find out the reason. As he closed up to the yellow fluid, he instantly recognised the smell of honey, without hesitation he dipped in his fingers and tasted. He was right.
A huge bee hive had developed outside Anthony's house over the years and the recent heat from the hot weather had melted the honey stored in the bee hive, causing it to seep through the walls of Anthony's home, bringing to him and his wife a sweet summer surprise – free fresh honey!
Honeybee expert, David Charles, explained what had happened in Anthony's story is very rare but the recent heatwave has definitely brought benefits to the bees. The high temperature has helped the flowers to bloom, giving the bees a lot more pollen to pick, bringing huge supply of honey as never seen before.
