Working with Strong Groups
Are you still walking by tiny small steps and sometimes you fall?
Do not try to walk by small steps for long distances. Do not try to run even for long distances because when reaching that long distance you are going to become old and no longer enjoy work. Can you tell me when you are going to reach a place far from you one thousand miles.
Why not going by plane which is better than going there by a car. You can go by train.
Similarly, methods vary but what is the most suitable one?
One of the most important and beneficial ways that you can rely on is to find out working joint ventures.
Find out very famous translators and well-known translation agencies from around the world and offer the joint venture. Offer them something which they can not refuse. Try to use your mind and build up a very strong and solid basis with them and consequently start-off your work with them.
Many translators have tried to use this approach but unfortunately they failed. Do you know the reason why they failed?
The idea behind failure is very simple more than one would have thought. You are going to laugh when you discover the solution or the interpretation behind the failure.
Because those translators when they contact the famous companies try to focus on what they themselves can get out the deal and therefore they make no value for the other party and that is why the entire deal is put to failure. Those translators forget about the other party at all. If you and me are in a restaurant and I eat food and tell you that you are my friend and I do not give you food to eat then would you believe me???
You are going to believe that I am really your friend if I give you food first and then I get food.
Why not giving benefit to the other party then for sure we will get the benefit.
That is why we need to be able to convince the other party that we are careful about him or her so that work continues very smoothly.
Focus on the other party. Ask yourself, what do they need? What can I offer them? What is valuable to them?
All people say that they would give a share of profits and really this is not enough and most of the time does not work because of the fact most people do the same thing.
Consider the following SECRET of doing that..........
Think of what would happen if you give the complete rights for a translator to distribute your articles and books. Think of the magical effect this would have upon your deals.
If you are righting a book or a report then you do not have to create a book of four hundred pages or five hundred pages or two hundred pages alternatively what you should concentrate no less on is the content of the book or report you do right. Sometimes we find lots of pages but we do not find valuable contents for those pages.
Think really of the content and the value of that content that turns out to be far more pre-emptive.
If you want to bring about an influence upon the other party you deal with then you must OFFER for the other party something FIRST. Remember when you offer the other parry something first DO NOT talk about your joint venture. When you create a value for the other party then you can ask for help let us say for example a joint venture.
On the basis of what has been mentioned, what do you think of this method or this strategy?
If you send an email to one of the translation companies telling them that you offer you CV and rates that are competitive ones and just you wait for a reply. The question here is that do you think that you are going to receive a reply from that translation agency. The answer for sure and as you tried that before that translation company is not going to reply to your email.
What is the solution?
The solution is not to say give me translation work immediately. As I said here earlier create a value for that company then tell them indirectly that you have a good CV and competitive rates.
Make the translation agency an offer it can not refuse.
