Working for my Grandmother© is a human interest story and gives one a strong sense of the values and memories of a young girl over 65 years ago.
Working since she was 6 years old at odd jobs in Brooklyn in those days did not break any child labor laws. Matter of fact it helped to develope a sense of value and work ethics that is sorely missed today. Somewhere between this writer's life and times and today's child's life and times the pedulum has swung from one extreme to the other and today's child seems to be missing the boat on the less material part of life. Read this and find out how the other half lived in the old days.
