Windows Live™ is a new set of Internet software and services designed to work together seamlessly to put you in control of
the
information, personal connections, and interests you care about. Windows Live makes it easier for you to stay in touch with your friends, and to find the information you need quickly and more safely. Windows Live promises to give better personalization, social networking, and information gathering, along with powerful online protection. Some MSN online services are moving (or have already moved) to Windows Live. Some of the services that
currently have the Windows Live branding are Windows Live Mail, Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner, Windows Live Favorites, Windows Live OneCare, Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Search. Many of these Microsoft services are currently under development. These services are accessed via a web browser, and the data required to run them is on a remote server. These are thought to be the future of computing because the services and user data are available anywhere, without installing an application.
